HyperX Madison is a multi-disciplinary, student-run organization designed to be UW-Madison’s Student Innovation Hub for hands-on experience with real-world problems and place for entrepreneurs to work on industry use cases. The focus in 2018 is on applied learning and problem solving in Blockchain, AI, and IoT in retail, transportation, Connected Home, and other disruptive spaces.

Rita Roloff, Comp Sci Junior, tests out the “Glass Walk,” a path of actual broken glass. Like firewalking, this exercise during an industry workshop was designed to empower breakthrough creativity and enhance team bonding.
We had a great turnout for the Happy Hour @1403 with an array of things to talk about from company-sponsored projects to upcoming events for corporations and opportunities and an ambassador program for students.
